2008 APA Scholarship Program
Each year, Arrowhead Park Association awards scholarships to assist employees of
Association member companies and children of employees with educational expenses.

Will receive $1000 to study Pharmacy at Butler University or the University of Toledo.
She is currently employed with St. Luke's Hospital
MADELINE BARGA - Winner - Youth Category
Will receive $1000 to study Pharmacy at the University of Toledo
Maddie's father is employed at St. Luke's Hospital
MARK BUENGER - Winner - Youth Category
Will receive $1000 to study the Medical Field at The Ohio State University
Mark's mother is employed at St. Luke's Hospital

Christine will receive $1000 to attend Baker College in Michigan, pursuing a MBA.
She is currently employed with Maumee OB/Gyn.
KARI SWAGLER - 2nd Prize - Employee Category
Kari will receive $500 to attend Heidelberg College, studying accounting & business
She is employed at Surface Combustion.
JAMES CROSS - Winner - Youth Category
James will receive $1000 to attend the University of Cincinnati, studying medical science.
His father is employed by Meyer Hill Lynch Corp.
JOHN FULLER - 2nd Prize - Youth Category
John will receive $500 to attend his chosen school to study mechanical engineering.
His father is employed by Surface Combustion.

In 2006, the APA Education Committee reviewed a total of 27 applications.

- Nicole Nadolny - $1000 to study Pharmacy Science at University of Findlay

- Amy DeDonato - $1000 to study Architecture at The Ohio State University
- Amy's father works for APA member The Andersons, Inc.
- Jacob Heck - $750 to study Land Surveying at Michigan Technological University

- Stephanie Rios - $750 to study Radiology at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio
- Stephanie's mother works for APA member St. Luke's Hospital
ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Review 2006 Application materials (for those planning to apply in 2007)
- Scholarship funds will be distributed during the summer of 2006 to the bursar's office
of the institutions to be attended by the winners
- 2007 APA Scholarship Information and applications will be available in February, 2007
2005 APA Scholarship Winners
Heather Vogelsong - $1000 scholarship in the Youth category
Heather's mother works for St. Luke's Hospital. Heather will use her scholarship to pursue
a degree in nursing from Eastern Michigan University. She has achieved a cumulative
3.975 GPA at Bedford High School.
Joanna Williams - $1000 scholarship in the Employee category
Joanna works for the Andersons, Inc. General Store on Illinois Avenue. Joanna is currently
pursuing an Education degree at the University of Toledo.
