TUTORING PROGRAM NOW UNDERWAY - YOUR HELP NEEDED!

You can help the APA strengthen the community by volunteering as a tutor at our adopted school - Burroughs Elementary in Toledo. Tutoring is as easy as reading a children's book, and sessions are available to work with even the most hectic schedule. And think of the benefits to our community's future!

We are recruiting 25 volunteer tutors from the park to help the children of Burroughs School.

TUTORING PROGRAM INFO:

• Volunteer tutoring involves as little as 45 minutes per week -- just one day a week. You can commit to as few as 5 weeks per tutoring tour.
• Tutoring shift times are set to accommodate your schedule.
• Burroughs School is located at 2404 South Avenue in Toledo, just off Airport Highway.
• Most tutoring time is spent simply assisting children with reading books. The child's teacher selects all the materials needed for each session.
