Trees Removed Because of Insect Threat

Arrowhead Park regulars have noticed numerous trees being removed by work crews recently. According to the City of Maumee, the removal of the trees was forced by the threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, a beetle whose larvae destroy trees by depriving them of their water supply. New trees will be planted to replace those that were removed.

TARTA Seeks Park & Ride Input

The Regional Bus Authority is considering the addition of a Park & Ride service for Arrowhead Park employees who live in Sylvania. TARTA is asking companies located in the park to report the percentage of their employees who live in or near Sylvania. To report your company's percentage, please contact TARTA at 419.243.RIDE.

December Members Meeting

More than 50 members of the Association attended the APA Quarterly members meeting, held December 7 at Brandywine Country club. Attendees elected Don Feller, Dick Moore, and Mark Rasmus to three year terms on the Board of Trustees.

The board is seeking members of various committees in 2008. To volunteer, contact Sue Utterback at 419.897.6614.
